Transporting beer via bicycle is a sketchy proposition: at best, glass bottles can weigh down a pack, and at worst, they can end up a puddle of beer and shards in the street. Milwaukee-based cycling company Fyxation came up with an elegant solution in the Leather 6-Pack Caddy ($60). The full-grain leather caddy is hand-made with metal fasteners and branded with the company’s Tannery collection “TC” logo. It hangs from the top tube via two leather straps and an additional strap holds it to the seatpost to keep it from swinging while your ride, and the leather adds a touch of class to your commuter. If you’re more of a wine guy, they’ve got wine caddies (and growler caddies, and disc caddies, etc), so you can haul whatever you need. The apparatus looks so sharp, that you may start bringing beer with you wherever you go. Get ready for a lot of invites.
