“eyo, what backpack would you recommend for massive amounts of sweat and stank? I got marked the other day when I got out of my car some fool saw that I had nothing on me - a giveaway that my wallet was in the truck. Shattered window, wallet stolen Looking to remedy this. Something not over expensive, maybe versatile and comfy.”

Weak sauce, man. For comfort and versatility, Gregory’s Tempo 3 pack ($100, gregorypacks.com) is great. It’s got three liters of storage and its nine pockets are well-organized and accessible enough to make it handy for a day hike. There’s even storage for trekking poles if your hike/run gets a little off-piste. I’ve been running with it up here in NorCal, and I’ve been impressed with the Wraptor strap system’s ability to keep the pack from bouncing around. The soft mesh on the back and under the straps is soft enough to rock even without a shirt on, and it’ll hang dry pretty quickly after a hot run.
You’re on your own when it comes to stank, though.
