One of the many memories I have of camping as a kid is searching for the mythical snipe. As the campfire blazed, the trusting kids would follow a parent into the dark woods to burn off s’more induced energy hunting the elusive snipe. If you ever had a similar camping experience you know the crushing agony of realizing that there is no snipe, until now.

The Snipe Hunting Game features two matching snipes and a home base to return them to.  The small rat-squirrel hybrids can be hidden by an adult or kids can compete and hide their snipe to be found by their partner.  If the snipe isn’t found within a few minutes it begins to chirp every now and again, then the blood-red eyes begin to flash until they’re finally found.

Overall, these little creatures provided us with an almost 30 minute child break as they ran off the sugar high finding and retreiving their slighly creepy looking snipes from plenty of hiding spots. Aside from the nightmare inducing blood-red eyes, these harmless little creatures are worth the break to any parent bold (or insane) enough to bring their kids into the wild with them.
