We gave a slew of sandals from Propét away a few weeks ago as a contest on the site, which was a great experience. In the process, we were able to get hold of a pair ourselves to really test out on our local adventures. Living close to rivers, lakes, and plenty of alpine water means that most of the summer is spent in sandals. Unfortunately, the flat flip flops are unsupportive and generally bad for posture and comfort so by the time fall comes along our feet are trashed. After a few weeks with the Propets, it’s fair to say that will not be the case this year.
The Propét Harrisons are the most comfortable set of flip flops I have ever worn. With excellent arch and heel support combined with a wide soft strap, they’re built like a shoe with the clean comfort of summer fun. The soft microfiber foot bed stays cool during hot weather and cleans up nice after a day in the sand. A cushioned EVA footbed over durable rubber was stable and held up well to rough surfaces. The nubuck and neoprene straps did stretch out a bit after wet use, but when dried out they returned to the original shape pretty well for a secure fit. So if you love to set those feet free but need more burly support than those flat flips provide, grab a set of these and go have some fun out there.
