So we’re about halfway to Utah, somewhere between Nevada’s 24 hour brothels and gas station casinos. No Trek Tech Press trip would be complete without a friendly contact with law enforcement. Conversation in the car as he was walking up:

David - What’s the speed limit in here? Do they have cell phone laws in Nevada?
Billy - How excellent would this story be if you ended up in jail?!
David - This trip has officially begun.

Aparently the speed limit had changed to 65, and we were going more than that (side note: the Lexus RX450H handles speeds above 65 as if they were well below the posted speed limit). So after the Trooper pulled back up and handed over a very lenient ticket, we had a conversation about him taking precautions in case we bummed rushed him and got back on our way to the Outdoor awesome that is OR.
