The Good: Lots of pockets for organization, well padded straps and back.
The Bad: The 15″ pocket was a bit small and barely fit my 15″ laptop.
The Ugly: The massive amount of extra stuff I was carrying in my other bag. With the streamlined storage in this bag, you’re forced to travel light.
Thanks to an awesome job, we find ourselves venturing away from an office and heading out into the unplugged world more often than most. While this is great for play, once we have to buckle down and work the office still needs to be close at hand. With that in mind, bringing everything we need for connecting outdoors takes a special kind of bag with plenty of organization and a bit of comfort too. Outdoor Products’ Power Pack Sling is a single strap tech bag with plenty of pockets, stash points, and small details that make the bag a great everyday commuter pack. The large padded laptop compartment is accessible from the top and side with a long J zipper, and is lined with soft materials to keep your shiny tech looking new. A second top access large pocket holds magazines or files, and a front tech pocket is full of small stash points like pen holders, two small holders for USB cords or flash drives, and a zippered pocket to keep small stuff from disappearing. The front has an expandable mesh quick stash pocket, side bottle holder, and even a soft sunglasses pocket to keep your optics in top shape. The pack has plenty of padding on the strap and back for a nice ventilated fit, and a small hidden stash pocket for cash or other important pieces.
We used this pack for over a month during the busy summer season to pack along a laptop, files, and all the electronic goodies you would expect. The slim profile of the pack was clean and easy to carry either over the shoulder or messenger-bag style, and kept everything safe along the way.
