This is a unique gear review. To test the durability of the “travel” part of these clothes, I had an adventure every day for 30 days wearing these clothes: check out the Instagram documented photos, and the original article 30 Day Challenge here.

Ultimately, I highly recommend these clothes because they have great features, are designed well , and hold up. This is not even taking into account the main point that is keeping slippery fingers out of your pockets. Theft is an issue that always irks me no matter where I travel and, even if just a placebo, Pᶟ Travel Clothes muted my paranoia.

Tough!

No joke, I wore these clothes for an adventure every day for 30 days and I washed them two times; as I would traveling. I ran in them, swam in them, stand up paddled, kayaked, camped, presented at a conference, etc., and most definitely traveled. In the end, I even burned the fabric at a campfire to see how durable they were.

Despite this, the clothes had no bad odor and when I asked people about how they looked, they said “clean.” The pants have no visible wear or tear at all - save a bit of rust stain from the crappy belt I used and the hole I burned.

The white shirt remained acceptably white and did not yellow at the pits. One issue is that it did develop two specific dirt spots where the zipper in the breast pockets rests, but only light markings in other places most notably from my pack at the straps. On the back, the fabric did fuzz from friction, but it is barely visible and does not feel as if it will tear. And something I did not notice on my other clothing until now, there was no loose threads on the buttons or high wear areas; that’s impressive.

One more thing, I took these swimming in the ocean and then jogged back a mile to my apartment. By the time I got in, they were dry enough to be comfortable, although a bit salty.

Neat Features!

This may sound insane, but Pᶟ is perfect for an obsessively organized traveler. I feel like I developed a filing system in these clothes. There are pockets in pockets so, for the first time, I was able to throw my keys in the “same” pocket as my cell phone and not worry about scratching my screen. In addition, the zipper on the pants pockets zips down, not up. This means I can zip them closed using one hand and, since I keep my pen clipped in my pocket, not have to unclip it to secure the pocket. There are even clasps on the back pockets that expand for a hefty wallet.

nifty-pockets

Basically, the pockets have a secret pocket in them, a zipper to secure them, and a button over the zipper. I tend to be a person who finds himself rolling, jumping, and flipping upside down more often than not. Have you ever had your change fall out of your slacks because you sat in a bucket seat in a car? I was never worried about my stuff falling outwith these.

Conclusion

I recommend these, especially if you travel. They hold up for overnighters in the wilderness and are still good for the bar when you hike it back to the city. The security features are beneficial even if you aren’t worried about being pick pocketed. And finally, they are comfortable!

I really like the design of these travel clothes!

The pants are my favorite. The pockets are well-organized and secure. Kudos to the designer for not making them zip-off pants.

I checked out the website, and they offer classier pants, as well, for business travelers.

I wonder if there are any plans in the works to make a travel vest.
