Running Shoe Upgrades Go (almost) Bionic

www.enko-running-shoes.com $ TBA

It’s very rare to see a shoe that can be called completely different from all the rest. These crowdfunded shoes (Indegogo, avail. starting Feb. 1) have an integrated shock that can be adjusted to match the activity.  While they look interesting I’m not sure we’re up for such a radical digression from the traditional modern design and how durable in the real world they may be. But all skepticism aside, I’m all for any bionic features that can give me the edge when pounding out the miles, and a massive shock absorber may be exactly what I need to nail down a few extra miles and avoid the post-run pain.
